At Prestige Home Care Agency, we understand the importance of providing high quality care for all of our clients. Part of our client services include programs for mentally challenged individuals between the ages of 3 and above.

The mental health program at Prestige Home Care Agency includes the following: a consolidated waiver, the mental retardation base program and a person/family directed support waiver. Through these combined services, we are best able to fulfill our mission of enhancing the quality of life for people living with mental retardation.

We feel that it is important to be empowered to make choices based on individual needs, and we understand that it is essential for our clients to feel as though they have control over their lives. The goal of our program is to aid our clients with mental retardation in maintaining meaningful relationships in their lives. This includes relationships with family, friends, neighbors and community members.

When people sense that they are in control of their lives, they begin to live with a sense of fulfillment. When they take responsibility for their decisions and actions, they feel satisfaction and pride with their current circumstances. They begin to develop a positive outlook.
